Generation Texas Week---November 13-November 17
Andrews Middle School is proudly participating in Generation Texas Week, November 13th-17th. The purpose of Generation Texas Week is to provide both information and encouragement to all students in regard to pursuing post-secondary education. The time to instill the belief that ALL students can pursue a college education is as early as elementary school. The week's activities are part of a statewide movement to ensure students have the information and inspiration they need to graduate---and achieve their highest potential.

The following are scheduled activities for Generation Texas Week during Mustang Academy:

Tuesday-School Spirit-Students will create a college pennant. Students who would like to enter the contest will need to turn in their pennant by Thursday, November 16th to be judged.
Wednesday-Aim High, Dream Big- "College Shirt Day"-wear a college shirt.
Thursday-Believing is Achieving-Teachers will share their information about their college experience.
Friday-The Andrews Way...-"Andrews Mustang Spirit Shirt Day"- wear Black and Gold and show your pride for Andrews and the education you are getting now!

Every student---from kindergarten through 12th grade---can benefit from Generation Texas Week's celebrations and conversations.
